It's been a long time coming, especially since he believes Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) is the one who shot him and nearly killed him on his wedding day, and finally Sonny (Maurice Benard) has tracked him down—but the encounter may not go as well as he hoped on General Hospital.

With Anna's (Finola Hughes) help, he tracked Carlos, but once they arrived in the country he's been hiding out in, Paul's (Richard Burgi) ministrations kept Anna from being able to get off the plane, which means that Sonny went to get Carlos alone. Now that he's found him inside a church, Carlos has flipped things around on him and is pointing a gun at his head.

"Just as you're saying Amen, I'll put my bullet through your head," Carlos threatens in a preview clip for the Tuesday, April 12 episode.

However, if Sonny makes a comment about the last time Carlos shot him, it could give his enemy pause, since he knows he didn't shoot Sonny and only shot and killed Duke—months before Sonny was ever attacked. And though Sonny will likely believe Carlos is denying that he tried to kill him, it could lead to the truth about the situation getting closer to being revealed.

Meanwhile, back on the plane, Anna is anxious that Sonny is alone with Carlos because she doesn't trust him to not try and kill him—and she desperately needs him to be brought back to Port Charles so he can testify against Julian (William DeVry) and she can get true justice for Duke's murder. However, she will need to convince authorities that if she is kept on the plane, it could lead to more destruction and death.

"There's people who are going to be hurt," she insists to the officer in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
