'Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Hillary's Schemes Begin To Backfire [VIDEO]
Ever since emerging from her coma and working things out with Devon (Bryton James), Hillary (Mishael Morgan) has been on a mission to get the life she believes she deserves, but all of her scheming may finally catch up with her and start blowing up in her face on The Young and the Restless.
After realizing Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was secretly sick and was actually one of Neville's (Michael E. Knight) patients the entire time, she used the information against her and blackmailed her into giving her her job. She has also been trying to do whatever it takes to get on the board of Jack (Peter Bergman) and Neil's (Kristoff St. John) foundation, but had no success after Devon told them not to let her be a part of it.
Now, after the truth about Ashley has been revealed and she's recovering from her tumor, the day of reckoning has come for Hillary as she deals with the fact that she didn't get her current position in an ethical way, and she will quickly learn that being married to the man who finances Jabot's research activities won't give her the leverage she had hoped when it comes to keeping the job either.
"As the man writing the checks, I think that it's time Ashley take back her title, and her office," Devon says to Hillary and Ashley in a preview clip for the Wednesday, April 13 episode.
Hillary will be stunned-and extremely pissed off-when she realizes her husband is even turning against her and will storm out. However, after she does, Ashley will caution Devon that she doesn't want to be the reason his marriage falls apart, which he will assure her that she Isn't, because if he and Hillary can't overcome his doing what he feels is best for the company, then their marriage isn't worth trying to save.
But of course, Hillary won't give up on her plans to have more power in Genoa City just yet, and will find a new way to scheme herself into a position on the Foundation's Board.
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
