She arrived on their doorstep believing she might be the one who's kidney was taken for Josslyn's (Hannah Nordberg) benefit, but Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will find herself appalled when she's asked to prove she is who she claims to be on General Hospital.

Following an email from Nina (Michelle Stafford), she sought out Carly (Laura Wright), Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) to tell her story about being taken by cash-strapped parents for an unnecessary operation, and her years of being sick afterwards, with her parents no longer needing money. However, there were doubts about the story because her parents had since conveniently died, and on the advice of Jax and Sonny, Carly asked her to prove it was the truth.

However, she may not take kindly to the demand, and will instead storm off. And when Michael (Chad Duell) goes after her to try and persuade her to go through with the demands, she will order him to leave her alone, and seem to actually be immune to his usually charming personality.

"You're not charming. Go away," she says to him in a preview clip for the Wednesday, August 10 episode.

However, back at Greystone Manor, there will be a different attitude regarding Nelle's abrupt decision to leave, as Carly will be desperate to get her back, and Sonny may also want to see if there is a way to persuade her. However, Jax, who has openly voiced his disapproval over trying to track down where Josslyn's kidney came from since the beginning of the investigation, will try to convince them both that it is for the best that she has left, and it better that they let her go for good.

"I think it would be best if Nelle never comes back," he says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
